The sisters were reportedly deeply influenced by Korean culture and had become addicted to an online Korean game called “Korean Love” during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
According to their father, the addiction went far beyond casual gaming. The girls had adopted Korean names for themselves and were completing tasks allegedly assigned within the game.
