It’s always a good day to build, but building loses its meaning when creators aren’t seen or supported.
We’re a software team that spent 8 months building /ringr as a mini app: real-time calling on BaseApp and Farcaster, with multiple production, grade modules behind it. Implementing reliable voice calls, handling concurrency, and making the whole system work end-to-end was not a trivial problem.
Yet despite shipping something real and technically complex, there was zero visibility or acknowledgment from the BaseApp side. No signal, no feedback, no support.
That naturally raises a hard question: what motivation is left to keep building on Base if builders doing real work are invisible?
I worry this kind of dynamic slowly pushes the ecosystem in a direction that’s not healthy long term, one where narratives get amplified, but actual builders quietly burn out.
I’m giving away 2 free lines to two people (or two friends) who want to talk to each other on @farcaster or @baseapp.base.eth ☎️
