they have hamstrung safaris usability - and many of the core iOS utility features - with extra taps, excessive motion, and severe illegibility, most notably in the notifications
going back to Chrome on mobile
the only reason i was using safari on iOS was for the Dawn wallet extension but Zerion is so good now that i can leave and do any mobile onchain tasks there
Chrome x Gemini is also compelling to switch
now to see if i can turn off this jelly motion globally …

sending nominal amounts of money to someone is still so convoluted
requiring platform alignment between parties is a nuisance
arbitrary rules of given platform add more friction
and yes crypto makes this both better (fast, permissionless, any amount) and worse (chain selection, permanent loss errors, knowledge gap)

i found myself more saddened than i expected by Cameron's departure.
he organized FarCon 1 in Boston in 2023. this is a cornerstone of community type guy.
i'm even more afraid bc it feels somehow like writing on the wall, and he's just bold enough to actually go out the door.
yet again, the only constant is change. i can't fault the team for seeking PMF. the world looks a lot different than it did when Farcaster started.
just pouring one out for the homie here, and appreciating what we had then. godspeed sir
