Today I’m exhibiting three chapters of Duality at the Andalusian Contemporary Arts Centre, Seville, at NXT Festival, as part of PHŌS_ Our Fire, curated by
@sutan in partnership with the Tezos Foundation.
Thrilled that my companion artwork, EBB–FLOW 02 (pictured), was collected by
@antagonist4ever♩♫♡
Thank you
@sutan for this thoughtful and beautiful text about my work.

For Joëlle, sound is not an inspiration. It is law. Her work is a visual grammar dictated by frequency, a search to give tangible form to the invisible.
Her practice is not born from the solitude of the studio, but from the communion of the dance floor. Forged as the visual artist of techno legend Richie Hawtin and as a resident of London’s FOLD club, her language has been tempered in live performance, in the need to translate the pulse of music into an immediate, visceral visual experience. She employs real-time generative systems not as a tool, but as an instrument.
