Like papi, I've had minor frustrations with small aspects of what I need to do lately. Incidentally, in this same window, each of my kids have had to work through something similar.
My frequent comment to them is along the lines of, "sometimes you've got to do the things you don't want to do in order to do more of the things you want to do."
Then this Cam Ward clip hit my feed today and hit me in the gut.
A friend told me years ago that "purpose at work is something you build, not something you find."
I have a great job working on great projects with great people (in somewhat normal hours). This work allows me to do more of what I want to do. My house is healthy.
Perspective.
