New cacao plants. We have germinated new cacao plants for planting alongside other species that will serve as support while they develop, such as hibiscus and papaya, which, together with plantains, will help ensure their development while also providing shelter and shade for them.
This time, the species we have germinated is Criollo cacao, which is native to this same area of El Hatillo and ideal for thriving here at 1,300 meters above sea level in this tropical forest climate.
We have already begun to process and produce ⌐◨-◨ Choco /vrbs 🍫 from these fruits!😍 😜
