It seems that a Farcaster fork is on the way. What does this mean, and what doubts do I personally have about it, based on my experience in these cases?
- There will be two chains or protocols that are similar to each other but with notable differences, such as those mentioned by
@cassie in her cast, which I am quoting.
However, established projects such as
@qrcoindotfun,
@betrmint,
@eggsdotfun, among many others, will have to choose which side to continue developing, because I imagine that their tokens and projects will be replicated in the new protocol, but I suppose they will want to work on one.
I am not a technical expert on blockchain development, but these are questions that have been coming up for me with everything I have read about it that has been published.
