I agree in that you don’t need to believe in anything more than yourself to understand cause, effect, and consequence. I disagree that spirituality is vague and that its a place to hide. Spirituality is both perspective and a tool one can use to practice ethics. Spirituality is not bound by the belief of god. Ancestrally (and in many current cultures untainted by capitalism), we gave hierarchy to the elements, to nature, to animals as we learned to coexist with them. To me, spirituality is not a place to hide but a space to surrender to the world we inhabit and understand that we have a role to play to sustain and support from which we come from. This is a foundation of ethics. To me what is a place to hide from is organized religion which can weaponize spirituality for their own purposes. That’s the real danger, not spirituality itself.

Players buy into an team—the season progresses, bracky gets smarter about how the teams play, reshapes the curve, as data comes in from players IRL, the games can inherit those injuries, stats, etc. Real skill tournaments are better overall for legality but states like TN don’t care about that at all so you couldn’t deploy it there if you wanted to if users have to buy in

Ramadan is not like Lent in that you don’t pick things to fast from—the goal of the fast is to refrain from al bad things even down to your own negative thoughts. Mindfulness and moderation are core to how we approach fasting (at least what I feel). If you overeat you tend to have a worse experience over the day (be moderate). When you allow one negative thought to enter your mind like how I tend to road rage at people who can’t drive, those thoughts compound and contribute to attracting more chaos (be mindful). (I haven’t slept so don’t mind me if it’s not making much sense yet)

I disagree completely lol It wasn’t until recently that a lot of the infra supports the rapid movement of assets of all kinds and to get there took a lot of the experimentation that the op is downplaying. Secondly, everyone is so focused on what makes “money” so the direction of the space can’t be dictated by the lowest denominated consumer. The bloodlust to win capital has tilted toward building bad apps, bad patterns, bad ideas, and people willing to defraud others for a piece of a diminishing pie. This ain’t saying that the incessant push for creator coins and other things the op mentioned were good—I don’t believe they were either but we can wag the finger “bad dog” without throwing out the collar and the dog bowl. I think my point is that many things can be true at once. Some ideas were really bad, we need to build more things that are successful, and we should listen to real feedback. And…what we did collectively led us here. We needed to get here.

Lmfao this is only to publicly assuage fear of surveillance, I highly doubt the company with an active back door to hundreds of police precincts would completely remove that feature
