One thing that always strikes me is how Africa is the oldest continent and, at the same time, has the youngest population.
It's not just a number, "Africa has the lowest median age of any continent, around 19–20 years", it's something that you feel around you -especially if you come from Europe, the continent with the oldest population.

I think this is good news. Foundation used to be a pillar of onchain art, remained true during the NFT craze, and did not give in to shitcoin sirens or 2025. But it has also been neglected. I hope it gets the attention it needs and deserves.

Common pattern: people attack character instead of debating policies or ideas.
You can strongly disagree with someone’s ideas, strategy, or decisions and still respect them as a person. The inverse is also true: You can agree with someone on a topic or policy while recognizing that their moral standards are lacking.

But for me, Farcaster Season 1 was more like a continuum and less about moments.
I don't think I've put so much mental effort and time into something in the last 10 years.
Trying to understand the implications of each proposal and each idea, trying to suggest realistic alternatives, and discussing and debating them with people that most of the time knew much more than I did, was one of the best courses I ever had.
