Recent Developments at Sahara
On April 7th, Sahara hinted at the imminent arrival of the SIWA testnet!
It has been reported that the third-quarter campaign is underway, and it is challenging for individuals to accumulate testnet points. However, before the anticipated Q3 airdrop, one can expect to earn between 1,000 and 1,500 points.
Introduction to Sahara
Sahara is a decentralized Layer 1 public blockchain project that is trustless, permissionless, and privacy-centric, integrating artificial intelligence with web3. It empowers individuals and businesses to create customized autonomous knowledge agents (Sahara KA) and Sahara Data. Whether you are a professional developer, entrepreneur, or an AI enthusiast, you can effortlessly build or deploy personalized AI products on the Sahara AI platform and receive tangible incentives by contributing data, developing models, or deploying AI assets.
Sahara's mission is to foster a more open, equitable, and collaborative AI economy, enabling ordinary users, developers, and enterprises to participate in the creation, deployment, and monetization of AI assets, while lowering the barriers to entry for AI.
Progress Timeline of Sahara
The Sahara AI project is rapidly advancing, and its testnet has undergone several critical phases:
On August 26th, the AI blockchain platform Sahara AI released its roadmap.
The initial phase of the Sahara AI Marketplace was launched in the third quarter to facilitate knowledge base collaboration.
In the fourth quarter, the Sahara Chain testnet will be introduced for developers and users to test and validate its functionalities. Currently, the first phase of the testnet, the Beta version of the data service platform, has been launched, attracting over 780,000 user applications, with more than 10,000 candidates securing the first batch of participation slots. Phase 2 is set to commence in Q1 2025.
In February, the second phase of the testnet was initiated, expanding the platform's contributor base and introducing additional incentive opportunities.
In March, Sahara AI announced the launch of the public testnet named "SIWA," regarded as the final major test before the mainnet launch and TGE of Sahara AI.
Additionally, Sahara Studio is currently recruiting testers to further enhance the developer experience. According to the roadmap, the Sahara Chain mainnet is slated for release in Q3.
