I’m listing to this episode about MEV on ETH and the host is interviewing the co-founder of Flash bots which is an RPC that will protect users from front runners. https://www.flashbots.net/ This interview is intellectually very engaging as they discuss topics related to individualism and local-ism as a means to form consensus. This comes from the ideas that in a scenario where block builders become price makers instead of takers. Mind boggling, but what I want to write about today is one of t...

I’m still on this arb strategy and I am winding down my other positions to make advances in this equilibrium game. Today in total I made a handsome profit of around 0.0002 BTC or around 12 USD as of writing this. this is based on a principle of around 300 USD or 0.005 BTC. The LP TVL stands at around 3K now and on further thinking on how to have a healthy arb operation I will need the equivalent of the TVL on both side or a total of 6K in USD. With that sum I can arb left and right without getting stuck on one side. (Maybe 100% on both sides is over kill, lets say 75%, but remember margin of safety WB)
I was looking at HDX and noticed the discrepancy also in iBTC/WBTC pair. The first issue that comes to mind it bridging in from INTR. Their max atm is around 0.0004 or 20 bucks and if including tx fee from BTC and the bridge fee going out then I do not think it is worth the effort. But perhaps I can consider buying random positions such as DOT and immediately trade into iBTC via HDX and again trade to WBTC to close that gap. Now that can be a strategy. In that way I can have a route of entry for WBTC because as of now the BOB Gateway only provides tBTC entry from BTC. Today for example I was stuck on the tBTC side because the the liquidity was so lopsided on WBTC.
