The interview was with Evgeny Gaevoy, CEO of Wintermute, a market maker. I never took time to look up the enterprise grade MMs and what they offer to the ecosystem. But his take on the crypto industry was insightful.
I keep coming back to this divide that BTC is money, but is not finance. Even though money is used in finance it is not the object driving the force. Lending and borrowing, investing, and accounting are what drive the industry.
