Good afternoon, I start today writing on the topic of ordinals. Ordinals are akin to ERC 721 since you can pack it with other data with the help of the Ord client, and Runes as ERC 20 minus the smart contract capabilities.
Ordinal = ERC 721 (NFTs)
Runes = ERC 20 (Tokens)
The Etching process is fairly simple and accessible aside from the TX fee which was going for 0.006 BTC in my case ultimately canceling my attempt. But I did ape into UNCOMMON•GOODS because Bitcoiner's time preference is minimal. Etching a Rune is possible on Luminex and here are some points to keep in mind before degening our good ol'chain.
Rune Tickers has a minimum count of 12 and will pull back as the blocks progress.
Rune symbols are commonly configured with emojis.
I personally prefer Magic Eden for their NFT marketplace since they also have available chains other than ETH.
The latter half of the day I spent way too much time on a new site I found called Udio | AI Music Generator. It's a bit sus where they get their data sets because the quality of the results is impressive. I spent the rest of my evening generating the songs below. Enjoy!
