National Geographic magazine has been published since 1888 and has undergone significant changes during its existence. It was created by the National Geographic Society as a publication covering topics of geography, history, nature, culture, and science. The first issues consisted of almost nothing but articles with a minimum of illustrations. Today, National Geographic is famous for its amazing “live” photographs that you can look at for hours on end.
