While there are a lot of things to complain about in this fallen world, I choose to focus more on the good things. There are still so many things to be thankful for. Not included in the list below, because He is above all of them, is my savior, Jesus Christ. It’s by Him and through Him that I live and can enjoy this life, accepting both the good and the bad that comes with it.
So, because it’s that week that all of the retailers look forward to (not the retail employees though…sorry if that’s you ), thought I’d take a minute or two to share, in no particular order, what I’m thankful for. Of course there are many more, but I’m not writing a book here…
Running a solo business - e.g. I’m in charge of my schedule
A wonderful family - I’m truly blessed with great people in my life
Creativity - making up stories, playing with images and video, playing with yarn, doodling, etc.
Technology that helps me connect with lots of great people across the world - Zoom!!!!
Health - found Keto, lost 50 pounds (20 or so more to get kicked out next year) and I feel so much better. Truly grateful.
I’ve found so much more peace when I take the time to ponder all of my blessings throughout the year, not just on Thanksgiving. I know you will too. It’s something I want to do more of next year.
Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans, and for those of you who don’t celebrate this Thursday, I hope that it’s a great day for you as well. 😊
So, what are you thankful for?
