The World seemed blurry. Familiar but far away.
I feel energetic. We went to Flüglers to look for something to drink. It felt awkward to ask people there, not because they are strange or bad, more we rarely talk with them.
I also feel that she has expectations, since she wants me to step up as a leader, being proactive. So I put pressure on my shoulders to fulfil this role in every moment of life. The thing is I have to feel comfortable to ask someone.
From the terrace of Flüglers I saw this guy. And based on the colour of the smoke rising from his jug, I guessed it was Rose and Chalice.
Confidence radiating my chest, I went down. First into the Cafe, of which he was sitting in front of. First we had smile contact. In the Cafe I talked with the guy behind the counte and I asked if I could make a picture of a book I read the other day here. With confusion in his face, he agreed. I went to the book & made a picture. Actually, I already made a picture of this, but I needed some foreplay before approaching him. Giving some words of Gratitude to the guy behind the Counter, I headed outside. Now some eye contact. My gaze wandered to his hand, where he was holding his J.
"What you are drinking?"
"Chalice with Rose."
"What is that?"
"It is..."
And he told me about the difference of hand rolling and with machine. Hoe the Rose is put into the Chalice. There are different techniques. After listening to his story, I asked:
"Do you know where I can get some?"
"...Well sit with me."
We sat, it was a flowy, easy conversation about nothing in particular. And everything but the world. He seemed like a guy who just went trough Life, happy with what he has. I felt also happy. I realized that in the past I had difficulty to talk with people, I was afraid. Thinking what would they think of me, anxious of rejection & full of shame anticipating doing something stupid. But now, all of theses shadows are gone.
I am feeling free.
"How long are you going to stay here."
I asked him as we said goodbye.
"As long as Shiva will."
"So than, as Shiva will, we will see again."
"As Shiva will."
A handshake later, we both went separated ways.
