👋 gm buidlers! We’ve just concluded an exciting month-long journey with the Sparkloom Hackathon, hosted by Morph on buidlbox. From March 25th to April 21st, participants from around the world joined us online to tackle some challenging projects involving everything from blockchain to AI. It was a whirlwind of innovation and learning, and we’re thrilled to share the results with you.
The Sparkloom Hackathon wasn’t just a competition; it was a chance to learn, explore, and connect. Over 646 participants registered to take on challenges across four tracks for a $20k prize pool: innovation, consumer-centric solutions, AI developments, and no-code projects. These challenges were designed to push the boundaries of what’s possible in tech today and create solutions that can make a real difference.
The buidlers were busy! A total of 207 projects were created and 129 projects were submitted for judging. And all their hard work culminated on April 29, 2024, where we announced the winners via buidlbox Youtube livestream.
First, a huge thank you to everyone who participated, and to the DevRel and judges who guided our participants through this process. We also owe a big shoutout to the MorphL2 team, who made this hackathon possible with their support and resources.

We encourage all participants to keep developing their projects! The connections made and the feedback received during the Sparkloom Hackathon are just the beginning. With the launch of the Sparkloom Incubator Program, Morph will be continuing to support hackathon projects and assist builders in further opportunities.
