Over the past few months, we’ve explored a wide range of ideas and challenges. One conclusion we’ve drawn is this: building a system that rewards supporters with a sense of ownership is not just important — it's essential.
Ownership in decentralized systems is typically rooted in public participation. However, many times, technical complexity or the internal structure of projects leads to unilateral decisions — which, while sometimes necessary, can alienate users who may not have the technical expertise to fully understand the rationale behind such decisions.
That said, I firmly believe that decisions affecting the direction of a project should carry more weight when made through a DAO framework. Unfortunately, this is something that’s often missing in platforms like Farcaster — or at the very least, not something we’ve truly experienced during our extended time in the ecosystem.
That’s why within the Geny Ecosystem, we’re introducing tools and mechanisms based on transparent smart contracts on the blockchain. These tools will empower different groups within the ecosystem to participate in governance through structured voting rights, built around a system we call.
GIP (Genyleap Improvement Proposal) is an original initiative I designed after a week-long analysis of 10 leading projects. It’s a key component of our tokenomics, embedded in a decentralized governance layer called GenyDAO. This DAO empowers GENY token holders to shape the future of the Genyleap ecosystem. Think of it as a decentralized parliament — a place where the community can propose, vote, and implement meaningful changes.
The GIP process serves as the heart of this system, providing a standardized method for proposing and adopting changes. Unlike many ecosystems where governance is absent or purely symbolic — GIP ensures the community has a real voice. No voting rights means no power — and in such ecosystems, decisions are often entirely centralized. That’s what we’re avoiding.
It means GENY token holders will have the power to decide on matters like:
Treasury budget allocation
Smart contract upgrades
Token burns
Ecosystem growth and partnerships
This ensures no single individual controls the entire system.
32 million GENY tokens are reserved under DAO control, exclusively used to fund proposals and development initiatives.
All decisions are transparently recorded on-chain. Execution is delayed by 48 hours (Timelock) to mitigate the risk of manipulation or abuse.
We’ve created a balance between retail users and large investors by distinguishing between standard and sensitive proposals.
Standard Proposals: Any user with at least 256,000 GENY (0.1% of the circulating supply).
Sensitive Proposals: Only major investors holding at least 2,560,000 GENY (1% of the circulating supply).
These thresholds ensure that critical decisions can only be initiated by those with both meaningful investment and a deep commitment to the ecosystem. In other words, no anonymous, untrusted actor can influence the project unless the community has collectively endorsed them.
Any GENY holder can participate in the voting process by delegating or staking their tokens. This ensures decisions are made collectively by the community, not by an individual or centralized body.
Even I, as the creator of this system, do not have the authority to push any proposal forward without receiving adequate support and votes from the community. That’s the level of integrity and decentralization we’re committed to.
To help voters identify who submitted each proposal, we’ve implemented a clear tagging system:
Core Team Members
Key Investors & Technology Partners
Angel Investors
OGs & Community Supporters
External/Unlabeled Participants
This helps maintain transparency. For example, if a proposal is submitted by an unknown whale who wants to manipulate token supply for personal gain, users will be able to detect that easily. Not every holder is granted the right to propose — only those who’ve earned community trust or fall into one of the verified categories.
Whether it’s the founder, an investor, or a supporter — every action is transparent. That’s exactly why I’m proud of this system: it leaves no room for exploitation or secrecy.

FC group for $GENY whales has officially been created, and holders have been invited to join! As we’ve mentioned before, every member is an essential part of GENY. According to the DAO rules, the official threshold to be considered a whale is 256k tokens. Since we’re still in the early stages, we’ve temporarily lowered the minimum to 64k tokens. This doesn’t mean we’re overlooking anyone who holds less—far from it! Everyone is valued and included, and this is just the starting point for our journey together. https://paragraph.com/@compez.eth/the-power-of-gip-in-the-geny-ecosystem

Now this is so simple & clear about $GENY $GENY ecosystem can be the beginning of new era. Here can community builders & supporters work together with putting their opinions. Thanks is so small, you should deserve more big my KiNG @compez.eth 👑 Dear FC Friends, you must read the paragraph 📖 https://paragraph.com/@compez.eth/the-power-of-gip-in-the-geny-ecosystem?referrer=0xCc5B9b35cf05Dd6c1B9f2362700cb579fe30C2fD

The Power of GIP in the $GENY Ecosystem
That's superb. I have a confusion between $genyframe & $genyleap 256000 geny token holding means, holding $genyleap? Also, can we say old $genyframe holders are OGs?
>>>>>> I have a confusion between $genyframe & $genyleap It was for a time when FC supported frames instead of mini-apps. So it's no longer there and we had to change the name to something more formal. >>>> 256000 geny token holding means, holding $genyleap? If it's new GENY on this CA: 0x2826272e099B12Aa3F661BBA0Adc5130D3630382 then yes! >>>> Also, can we say old $genyframe holders are OGs? Yes! This is a privilege we would do well to consider for our loyal community.
Thank you so much for this information my KiNG. LFG $GENY 🦾
