In 1998, a shipwreck named "Black Rock" by later generations was salvaged from Indonesian waters. Of the 67,000 cultural relics salvaged, more than 80% came from Changsha Tongguan Kiln. Painted bowl with Arabic script and grass leaf pattern, with the date of manufacture engraved on the outer wall: July 6th in the second year of Baoli (826). The other bowl's heart reads "The Story of Yuming Fan's Family in Shizhu Yuzi, Caoshi, Hunan Province."
