Life comes in different stages and one need to understand each stage, I remember growing up in elementary school, there was an unspoken rule in every classroom.
The brilliant, well-behaved kids always sat in the front row. The troublesome kids, the ones who whispered, distracted others, or threw paper balls were automatically sent to the back. And here’s the interesting part: even when a notorious troublemaker decided to “upgrade” and sneak into the front, the teacher would eventually send them back where they belonged.
That's so true
Why? Because front row seats require front row attitude.
Let this sink in..
It wasn’t just about where you sat; it was about who you were becoming. The front row wasn’t for everyone. It was for those who paid attention, those who leaned forward, those who wanted more. And life, much like the classroom, still works that way.
You honestly need to understand positioning..
In every arena be it business, leadership, relationships, or personal growth, there are “rows.”
Some people are in the front, shaping the conversation, influencing the direction, and setting the pace.
Others are at the back, watching passively, missing details, and often complaining about why life isn’t fair.
But here’s the truth: the front row is not claimed by desire alone. It is earned by discipline, character, and readiness.
A seat in front doesn’t just give you proximity to the teacher (or the opportunities in life), it also places you under more scrutiny. You can’t hide in the front. Your attitude, your focus, your consistency ,all of it is visible. And if your character doesn’t match the seat, you’ll be asked to move back.
Listen to me ,life Will Test You
Think about it. In your workplace, there are promotions (front row seats) waiting to be filled. But if you lack diligence, integrity, or commitment, life itself, just like that teacher will send you back.
In your relationships, if you want to be trusted with depth, loyalty, or intimacy, you can’t come with a back-row attitude of carelessness and negligence.
Even in your spiritual life, God does not elevate without preparation. A front row assignment requires front row maturity.
Many people think sitting in front is about privilege. But it’s not privilege, it’s posture. You don’t stumble into front row experiences with a back-row mindset.
Success, influence, and greatness do not come to those who merely want them, but to those who prepare for them.
The truth is, you don’t get promoted to leadership just because you want to lead. You get promoted because you’ve demonstrated a leader’s heart.
You don’t become wealthy because you wish for riches, you build wealth by adopting the habits, discipline, and mindset that money respects.
You don’t get access to greatness with mediocrity in your spirit.
If you desire front row opportunities in life, you must adopt the front row attitude:
Curiosity: Always eager to learn, not pretending to know it all.
Discipline: Showing up prepared, consistent, and reliable.
Humility: Knowing the seat is not a crown, but a platform to grow.
Focus: Guarding against distractions, keeping your eyes on the teacher,on the goal.
The same principle is why some people never move forward in life. They crave the view of the front row but cling to the habits of the back row:complaining, resisting correction, and avoiding responsibility.
As i close
So let me ask you: are you carrying a front row attitude, or are you trying to drag back row behavior into front row opportunities ?
Because no matter how hard you try, life will not allow you to sit where you don’t belong. To stay in front, you must become the kind of person who deserves to sit in front.
The truth is simple: Front row seats require front row attitude so one needs to have the discipline to occupy the front row.
