I came back from Latin America with fresh conviction about why volatile economies (like Argentina) are fertile ground for dollar rails and stablecoins, versus “European-feeling” markets like Uruguay and Switzerland where I spend most my time . Conference-wise, the big quiet story was JPMorgan moving institutional transfers onto Base, with Stripe, Shopify, and Privy all reinforcing the narrative that serious payment rails and stablecoins are converging. We're getting the adoption everyone wanted, slowly and surely it is happening now, but many conversations fail to recognize the pieces falling into place while reiterating the same shit from the last 2-5 years.
JP Morgan is now live on Base https://www.jpmorgan.com/kinexys/digital-payments/jpm-coin
Uruguay feels “European” in card usage and stable local-peso flows, while Argentina’s inflation pushes big-ticket items into USD and dynamic QR menus, which are perfect context for why stablecoins and dollar rails thrive there.
Privy is optimizing for stablecoin flows, AI-agent wallets, and a Stripe-centric product path that hides crypto acquisition friction behind familiar payment experiences. Though not forgetting to power the native crypto experiences. Don't underestimate Stripe x Privy x Bridge

Ethereum & Crypto is being adopted by instutions! JPM isn't the only one. We predict the market to go barbell. Full non institutional or full instutional in what you support and focus one. Some will be really good for both and support both ends of the barbell like Morpho, though don't be in the middle.
