It’s only a matter of time that a billion dollar, mainstream company like Coinbase acquires Bankr. If you’ve never heard about Bankr, then I do recommend reading this article to completion. Bankr is an AI agent on the X and Farcaster platforms that allows users to initiate/execute transactions with a click of a button. You don’t even need to sign up for anything; Bankr is automatically integrated within your social media accounts without you having to do anything!
Bankr is an app developed by 0xDeployer. Some of Deployer’s most notable work include $HAM, $TN1000X, & many more. After all of Deployer’s prior success, he really went crazy by implementing the idea of Bankr.
Bankr can do all this thanks to Privy (recently acquired by Stripe.) Privy allows for every X social media feed to have a dedicated wallet attached. Without having to go through any obstacles, the cryptocurrency wallet is already there after the initial setup of your account. Privy serves as the foundation to many clients: Hyperliquid, pump.fun, OpenSea, and Zora to name a few.
Bankr allows for seamless transactions to be made by giving the AI a prompt through a social media post and it performs the transaction for you aggregating the best possible route. For example, if I wanted to buy a certain amount of a token, I wouldn’t have to go through a decentralized exchange to do so — I could just write up a post saying "@bankr buy me $10 of $BNKR" and it will reply with a confirmation that your transaction went through.
Bankr doesn’t only perform transactions for you. You can also send coins from user to user, set limit orders, start up airdrops for hundreds of people, launch your own token or mint an NFT, etc. Those are all only some of the current use cases. Deployer plans on adding much more utility in the future (I’ve even heard talks about leverage trading and the ability to buy and sell gold.) The possibilities are endless. Imagine what Bankr could be ten years from now…
As of right now, Bankr is accessible on the X and Farcaster platforms. Mentioned before, you do not have to activate anything to access Bankr. If you have one or the other accounts, you automatically have a cryptocurrency wallet attached to your account giving users the ability to perform what was stated above.
But that’s just how it started… I am pretty sure Coinbase Wallet has adopted Bankr (at least, I think I have seen.) If Bankr was just added to Coinbase Wallet, can you envision what would happen if cryptocurrency is mass adopted and Meta or Google takes note of Bankr?
Bankr is an app created in early 2025 by its parent company, Privy. Privy was developed in 2023/2024 and currently fosters many clients outside of Bankr. Have you ever heard of Warpcast?
Warpcast, or Farcaster, is an on-chain social media that allows users to interact with each other using a tipping functionality. Similar to X, random posts can be made on Farcaster and viewers can tip OP based on whether they’d like to or not. You guessed it! The tipping mechanism is possible because Privy gives Farcaster clients self-custodial wallets.
Bankr serves as so much more than a machine that executes transactions for you. With all the additions Deployer is making, I don’t see a world where Bankr isn’t used as the next Zelle for cryptocurrency; or maybe even cash. Who knows? Deployer could make Bankr public to the Web2 world.
It really is exciting to think of what can come next for Bankr. Once again, the possibilities are truly endless and Bankr has so much potential. I look forward to seeing what Deployer has in store for us…
If you read this article to its entirety, I genuinely thank you for listening/reading my thoughts regarding Bankr. If you would like to keep in touch, my X handle is @E7H45 and Farcaster is @E777.
