i'm always going to refer to x as twitter. that's what it was called when i discovered it... the actions on twitter also have their own names revolving around the word 'twitter' (i.e. tweet, retweet, etc.) elon musk acquired twitter from jack dorsey on october 27, 2022 for $44 million. ever since elon took over, he has implemented tons of great ideas - like creator payout, creator subscriptions, & so much more! yes, the twitter platform has excelled tremendously... however, there are still some areas that x needs to improve on.

in the beginning of 2025, i woke up one day and no longer had access to my @ethhn7 account. i am now on a new twitter account: @E7H45. the weirdest thing about getting my account hacked was that the hacker was able to change the login credentials without the original email (used at signup) getting notified of these changes.

it's been a little over half a year now; i've tried getting my old account mass reported & i've even ID verified numerous times, yet x refuses to take any action.. what shocks me the most is the other day (when you would see everyone asking @grok questions about their 25 mutuals) i made a fake grok account - @gro0o0ook - to reply to myself in a silly manner, and it got banned in a matter of seconds.

i think the worst part about me getting my account hacked is that the hacker is draining wallets of my following. from what i hear, he/she DMs each of my friends inviting them to a "podcast" and i'm assuming proceeds by sending them a drainer link afterwards. i've been asked many times on my new account "E7 - why did you drain me??" for the last time, it definitely is not me who drained you, just someone else using my likeness to take advantage of you.

the old handle that got taken from me (@ethhn7) is the domain of my website showcasing some of my artwork, so that'd be the only reason i would want that account back. asides from that, another reason i'd want that account taken down is because just the other week, someone had DMed me on my new account asking why i drained them..

if yal can do me a huge favor, block & report the @ethhn7 account. i don't think the reporting feature does much on x, but it's worth a shot. let's try and get the fake E7 account off this platform ASAP.
