Venom aims to be a Layer 0 blockchain using dynamic sharding to become a network ready for mass adoption.
The token is already live on CoinMarketCap, and they have mentioned in their whitepaper that 22% will be allocated to the community.
It’s still in its very early stages, and here are some steps to claim its airdrop with the launch of its testnet campaign.
Note: the network can be quite buggy at times, so you may need to perform the transactions multiple times before it works.
Create a Venom Wallet
You can’t add the Venom network to your Metamask wallet, so you’ll need to create a separate wallet.
Similar to other wallets, you can choose to create or import a wallet.
After writing down your seed phrase, you should be able to create a wallet.
Get testnet Venom from the faucet
You can complete some social tasks to receive some VENOM tokens in your wallet.
NFT 1: Complete social tasks
NFT 2: Send some Venom to an address
It took a while before it updated to say that the wallet received my funds.
NFT 3: Interact with Web3.world (DEX)
This will be similar to other testnet DEXes that we’ve interacted with (swap, add liquidity, farm).
P.S. some of the transactions can take really long! Swapping Venom to USDC took 9 minutes before it was confirmed.
NFT 4: Stake Venom with a validator
NFT 5: Bridge Venom to an EVM chain
NFT 6: Stake Venom
NFT 7: Buy an NFT on the network
NFT 8: Complete social tasks for the launchpad (VenomPad)
Give feedback on Discord (under completed-tasks channel)
