It’s no secret you can buy drugs online.
Here’s a fun one that’s out there though.
I go to a website on the L1 internet. It looks legit enough, even says they’re located in a State where weed is legal right there (point wildly).
I get you to buy in bulk, because the prices are soooooooo good. I’ll even give you a 10% discount for using crypto.
Ok, sweet, there’s no way this can go wrong, so you complete your “order” and they give you a BTC address.
There’s no way to escrow BTC sending it from one wallet to another. You send your BTC to an unknown address and wait for your shipping email.
Only it never comes. [$ShockedPikachu]
You check the next day, still nothing. You reach out to them via email, they request a chat. You join the chat and they say, yep, your order IS actually ready, but there’s been a small delay. The delay means you don’t get the package anytime soon. They tell you they can speed it up though, for another fee. Huh? I just gave you money for stuff, you send me stuff, that’s how e-commerce works.
Their response: since you’re in a State where it isn’t legal, it has to be delivered by courier and signed for. You send us another $350 in BTC, we’ll get it dropped off overnight.
This is dumb. Do not do dumb shit on purpose. You have already given your personal information to criminals. The drugs they have probably aren’t “real” anyways, just designer rip offs of the real thing. If they even have them.
If you do this, you have now invited criminals to your house. I mean, obviously, they’re a completely reputable bunch. They may or may not actually have drugs, but do you want to find out?
If it was only “weed”, it isn’t that big of a deal? /shrug
No one is safe.
