For those of you who don’t know me, I’ve been in the space for close to 3 years now. Fresh out of Uber, launching new products across 10+ markets, the crypto space looked like a whole different ballgame back then.

So I delved right in. Experienced my first bull run at Tempus, a fixed-interest-rate protocol, running marketing for their IDO & mainnet launches, then ran all-things content in the infrastructure space while at Fleek.

Why Paragraph?

I was initially torn between Substack, Mailchimp, beehiiv and a few others but my heart still lied on-chain.

Mirror.xyz just didn’t have enough functionalities, while beehiiv was completely off-chain. That’s how I landed on paragraph.xyz, a fully customizable combination between the two.

It offers a tailor-made newsletter experience with the added benefit of easily integrating on-chain. I'll be dedicating an entire edition to what sets it apart.

The State of Web3 Marketing

Web3 marketing has come a long way since the early beginnings of the last bull run, when we were used to incoherent strategies and settled for the “let’s see what sticks” approach.

2 years later, we’ve got cross-chain analytics to build the right user persona, customizable referral modules to integrate with existing distribution platforms, and a more mature web3 social scene. Yes, I’m talking about the latest Farcaster craze.

In this section, I’ll be outlining successful marketing tactics deployed every week.
