Like an end baus!

We're getting close to playtesting every day now. We have several branches merging as I type, with Nav Meshes, Textured scenes, Enemy Wave randomiser, Weapon selector, Character selector and nice looking UI, all combining into one awesome feeling game experience. Below is a quick little test with Brian/Bryland the Bear running into trouble and falling through walls that aren't setup as yet.. haha! The green slime soup is amazing to see in motion...

CHET holder progress on model development.

Your CHET avatars are being put through their paces in readiness for playtesting. It's been exciting to see CHET evolve and the hand painted look with the back tattoo set off the look really well! We feel he need some dog.. cough cough Hangry tags to complete the look and he's ready for CHET pass holders to claim! We've also been toying with a cool concept for CHET to be able to incorporate some of the Hangry Animals story lore even more into your avatars gameplay.

CHET will benefit from a unique weapon concept.. the virtualised mech warrior suit that projects out from his EDFUF (Earth Defence Force United Forces) standard issue field time piece. Each member of the military is given a utility time piece with unique abilities.. CHETs trust wrist watch doubles as a mech suit in combat allowing each marine to travel light but still pack a punch! Early concepts are looing cool, and I'm sure you'll agree, CHET rocking a glowing blue virtual mech suit is going to be awesome to play in game testing.

Carousel filling up

With the completion of Bryland the Bear and Susannah fast approaching, we've been testing the character selection within the main menu. As a demo level, each Hangry owner will have the ability to play as anyone of the 5 Hangrys simply by possessing a Hangry in their wallet. In open competitive gameplay each holder will require the specific Hangry to operate and earn points. CHET holders obviously will be able to play as CHET Dogood, no matter what mode of play you opt for. The crew is looking great right now and as we flesh out the Collisions on walls and stairs in the level to avoid you falling through the floor, we're also balancing the weapon choices for a competitive edge to build strategies for success.
