The recent Salty Sharks Uprising Exhibition brought a unique flavour to the realm of virtual conferences, providing a platform for like-minded builders in the web3 space to connect, share, and evolve. Presentation has always been at the heart of conferences; however, the Salty Sharks Exhibition took it up a notch by integrating the engaging elements of the metaverse. Scribe’s presentation on gamifying Discord Communities was empowering, demonstrating how blockchain technology can be used to build platforms that entertain and reward for participation. Similarly, SSU presented an enlightening discussion on the future of education in the metaverse surrounding Shark welfare in our oceans, which we obviously align to at Hangry HQ! Meta Builders showcased their longevity, early innovations and power of collaborations in web3 alongside building the Community of Communities ecosystem to support a broader group of Web3 experiences that are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in this domain.
Project Lambo's engaging session on gaming and NFTs sparked a lot of interest, highlighting how art, gaming and earning on blockchain can intersect to create new opportunities for creators and innovators. A project we're super interested in and empowered to follow down the path of incentivising users to engage, play and earn together.
