Jamee is a mad scientist in the best way possible: she went from tinkering with old iPods to accidentally launching a cult-favourite product with nothing but a 3D printer. She’s breaking out of the web3 bubble to turn fans into co-conspirators. Earlier this year, Jamee received an IYK grant to fund the production and chip one of her collectable collections. How did Science Fair start?
first things first: become a P~R~O~D~U~C~E~R to get Los Fomos FM off the ground with us 🌶
Initially, Jamee planned to create collectible items using old tech, like iPods and game consoles, to house musicians' catalogs. However, collaborating with other musicians on their catalogs proved challenging and after purchasing a 3D printer to make cases for musical projects, Jamee accidentally found viral success on X by designing a case for lighters and joints. The demand surged, leading to unexpected large-scale production and sales.
When Jamee started noticing a ceiling in engaging only with her web3 audience, she began focusing on broader appeal (been there, tried that). Jamee started iterating product designs based on customer feedback, shifting away from purely digital realms.
To create a more engaging and rewarding feedback system, Jamee devised a method where customers earn tokens for their feedback, enhancing both user involvement and product development. Check it out for yourself!
