In just 3.5 days, Los Fomos (LF) crossed its first crowdfund milestone of $10K, making it the fastest and largest raise on Farcaster to date. The campaign pushed Seed Clubβs crowdfund app to the #1 trending spot on the platform, and set a new benchmark for creator-led projects in the onchain space. As of writing, the crowdfund is still live, with the final $15K goal in sight.
The momentum is helping us fuel the next phase of LF: Midnight in Los Fomos, an IRL show series set to launch in Paris this summer. The project marks a deliberate step toward reaching audiences far beyond crypto and onboarding them to our onchain community.
We didnβt get here without hitting walls and learning from themβnor without the years of groundwork building a world from scratch.
Initially created as a show to highlight the human, authentic, spicy side of builders in crypto, we incepted LF on a (sufficiently) decentralised network to be able to own relationships with community members. What makes LF unique is its world-building, its interview/chat-style format and the fact that the community is part of the show and the world as LFers. We are onboarding people into crypto through a shared story and cultural identity, building direct relationships and access to fans.
Us two co-founders, Tako and Pau, havenβt met in person even after building together for more than 4 years. We spent over 1.5 years building LF full-time, establishing social proof, trust, and a sense of belonging among early members. So far, we built the LF community channel on Farcaster into a vibrant, culturally distinctive space, embracing the bold, the expressive and the ambitious.

Since 2024, we attracted more than $40K in grants and partnerships that supported our online show production and community rewards. We published 70 show episodes and our episodes were collected more than 20K times.
The crowdfunding was a natural next stepβgiving LFers a chance to actively shape the next chapter. Thanks to a long-term plan and a community of deeply engaged LFers, we were confident we could hit the first $10K milestone.
But getting here wasnβt just about momentumβit was about navigating every distribution and audience-building challenge thrown at us over the past two years.
Weβve built and led communities across Web2 and Web3, for the past year and a half, tried every tool available, and hit the same wall every time: there was no persistent fan experience, no ability to build a loyal fan identity, no way to directly reengage, trace contribution and reward real fans.
For LF to become what it is meant to be, we canβt just build content to make new people fall in love with the world and culture we built. We need to build the rails that let us scale it.
With our crowdfund funds and a stronger-than-ever community, LF is stepping into physical space. The upcoming 6-episode series in Paris will be the first IRL extension of LFβs world-building, designed to bring new people into the story and grow the community beyond crypto.
But the goal is bigger than one show. Our long-term vision is to build the first onchain-native IP that resonates way beyond web3. By leading with story, creating direct community relationships and pushing the limits of distribution, weβre laying the foundation for a $1B-scale IP that draws the masses toward our app and fully onchain experiences.
The next chapter starts this summer. Be part of it or fumble it and regret it later.
Weβre LFers, weβre ready. Make the spice flow πΆ

Hey @seedclub @nicholas @jess what were some of the biggest and/or most notable crowdfunds on @crowdfund? I want to highlight them in my devconnect presentation
I know youβre not asking me, and this wasnβt large or fast, but I do feel like the crowdfund I ran for the high school entrepreneurship competition is relatable and feel good! https://crowdfund.seedclub.com/c/cmgr2drgc1fdsqk0sud3e6rz2
@pauline-unik @tako-unik and the /los-fomos crowdfund!
Thanks for the ping @erica! @chaskin.eth we raised ~$12k usd in 3,5 days earlier this summer for our first IRL /los-fomos show production called Midnight in Los Fomos. I believe the highest velocity crowdfund to date. Happy to tell you more about our strategy and how we leveraged our community connections to achieve this milestone !
Btw - our recordings are taking place in Paris this week - excited!! We planned the crowdfund to be able to afford professional filming equipment + talent. Now itβs happening! Weβre the first immersive entertainment show that will actually onboard the next million people onchain (you heard it here first) I AM SO SO EXCITED
Iβm super excited ππππ
Thanks for the shoutout, Erica π«Ά As @pauline-unik said LF crowdfund was the largest and the highest velocity raise on the protocol at the time Some helpful links: https://farcaster.xyz/nicholas/0xfbc6768e https://farcaster.xyz/nicholas/0x270175ce https://paragraph.com/@losfomos/los-fomos-building-onchain-ip-for-the-masses https://x.com/base/status/1939388482759319876?s=46
FarCon Rome! @limone.eth
right, i think its the largest and fastest!
Are dates already locked in ?
not @nicholas and obv biased, but @crowdfund helped @betrmint raise $10,000 to expand our NEONCHAIN Summer artist series roster from 10 to 16 featured artists a couple months ago. All told this initiative commissioned 16 amazing art pieces from farcaster native creators and paid out $15,000 in creator rewards to them from the rounds. https://crowdfund.seedclub.com/c/cmddje83b077nu00tc4a1pjxo
It was great to see the community rally behind @joseacabrerav.. funding a trip for him to visit the US for the first time!
