Mega Hackathon 2022, the largest student hackathon in the US, is kicked-off on June 15, with the support of MetaJam and M7e as special partners. And the Mega Hackathon page is officially launched at the same time.

Mega Hackathon 2022 is a 4-week blockchain hackathon launched on June 15 and concluded on July 8, which is co-hosted by USC CSSA and Northwestern University Blockchain Group and is the largest student hackathon to date. Blockchain associations or clubs from top universities in Europe and the United States, including the University of Texas, Imperial College of Technology, University of California, Irvine, Cambridge University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of London, University of Michigan, Oxford University, New York University, Georgia Tech University, Tsinghua University, University of Hong Kong, University of Illinois, University of Chicago, and others, are participating in the support.
The Mega Hackathon pools $80,000 in prizes, divided equally among 4 tracks: DeFi, NFT, GameFi, and Web3. The hackathon will be 100% online to ensure that participants from all over the world have a fair chance to participate.
The Mega Hackathon is dedicated to connecting talented builders with different ecosystems, protocols, and investors, providing more opportunities for young people with passion and enthusiasm to collaborate. During the hackathon, there will be a series of lectures on related topics for the participants, as well as an NFT raffle and peripheral NFT sales.
MetaJam, which is dedicated to connecting Web3 builders and building Web3 BUIDL Network, has created a Mega Hackathon 2022 special page to provide participants with registration channel and social functions such as project showcase, team building, like-sharing, voting, and commenting to better help participants from idea conception to product development. Participants can click the Apply button on the top right corner of the page to create a project profile to join.
