The Palácio dos Condes da Calheta, also known as Palácio Calheta, Palácio do Pátio das Vacas and Museu Agrícola Tropical, is a palace located in the parish of Belém, in Lisbon, initially built in the mid-17th century by D. João Gonçalves da Câmara, fourth count of Calheta.
The Calheta Palace has been classified as a National Monument since 2007.

History
During the reign of D. José, the State secretariats and the Military Archive operated in the building, and interrogations of those involved in the attack against the king in 1758 were also carried out in this palace.
Currently, the palace belongs to the Tropical Agricultural Garden-Museu, successor to the Colonial Agricultural Museum, installed there since 1916. The building underwent some changes and, in the 20th century, underwent works during the Portuguese World Exhibition and, more recently, in the 1990s. 1960.
Description
It is a sober construction, typical of the 17th-18th centuries, consisting of two floors made up of two uneven and irregular bodies in height. The south facade, facing the garden, has an extreme section resting on Calçada do Galvão, followed by a larger, but more set back, with an iron balcony on the first floor, in front of five windows.
