Rua Augusta is a famous street in downtown Lisbon, Portugal, which, starting at the famous triumphal arch, connects Praça do Comércio to Praça do Rossio. It pays homage to Augusta, the figure of King D. José I.

It has a high concentration of commerce, as the entire street is lined with several stores, many of them from major international brands. It has been closed to traffic since the late 1980s and is often occupied by street artists, artisans and street vendors.
Parallel to this are Rua do Ouro and Prata.
