Solar dos Cancelos, also called Quinta da Areeira and Solar dos Seixas, is an old manor house located on Rua dos Cancelos do Meio, in the village of Cancelos de Baixo, in the parish of Poço do Canto, in the Municipality of Mêda.

Architecture It is a baroque manor house, built in the 18th century by order of Manuel de Seixas Moutinho.

The building, has a longitudinal plan, is divided into two floors. The main façade is marked by the regular opening of doors and windows. On the ground floor there are six doors, opening on the main floor with an equal number of windows, framed by volutes.

In particular, the main panel of the frontispiece, where the portal is inserted, topped by a bay window preceded by a balcony with balusters and coat of arms.

On the right side, a private chapel was built.
