Mantis is incredibly happy to announce its partnership with bloXroute, a leader in providing services for mempools, block streaming, and DeFi performance. In this collaboration, the two protocols will be sharing user intents, and collaborating to provide solutions for them:

1. bloXroute will be using Mantis to process their orderflow between Ethereum and Solana

   a. Mantis will then settle these intents, either cross-chain or on Solana, as needed

2. Mantis will be using bloXroute as a potential solution route to user intents

This partnership thus involves a commitment to process approximately $1.5 billion in volume. This provides a strong kickstart to the Mantis framework; the more volume being processed, the more order matching can occur (further resulting in better execution), and the more that solvers and other actors in our system can earn from performing their roles.

This collaboration involves two main initiatives:

1. Routing Ethereum<>Solana Intents from bloXroute to Mantis

Through the present collaboration, all bloXroute trades from Ethereum to Solana and from Solana to Ethereum will be routed through Mantis. Then, solvers on Mantis will fulfill these intents in a manner that is, depending on what is needed, either:

• Cross-chain, or

• On Solana

This positions Mantis to process a large volume of trades; over 300 projects use bloXroute, collectively sending over $1.5 billion in daily transaction value. In exchange for participating in this collaboration, bloXroute will receive a portion of revenue from Mantis transaction fees.

The Mantis framework will then be able to deliver optimized settlement for these trades from bloXroute, as facilitated by solvers and the rest of the Mantis architecture. This includes use of the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol through the Picasso Network, which enables cross-chain capability between Ethereum and Solana.

2. Routing Mantis Intents to bloXroute’s Ethereum Solvers

Similarly, Mantis will also be sharing intents with bloXroute, allowing bloXroute’s Ethereum-based solver network to resolve these intents. This will broaden the overall solution space for user intents/transactions submitted through Mantis or bloXroute, providing better execution.

This collaboration will also result in bidirectional orderflow between Mantis and bloXroute. Increased orderflow will further help to bootstrap the Mantis ecosystem, increasing the chances of order matching along the Coincidence of Wants principle and providing greater incentive-earning opportunities for solvers and other key protocol participants.
