Mantis is happy to share that we will be working with Dialect. In this partnership, Dialect’s Actions and Blinks will be incorporated into Mantis’s product experiences. This will streamline how users interact with Mantis.
Mantis will leverage the following products from Dialect:
Actions are a protocol for creating and delivering Solana transactions through URLs, making Solana sharable everywhere. More specifically, actions are APIs that deliver signable transactions, and soon signable messages.
Blinks, or Blockchain Links, are clients that detect Action URLs and unfurl them into full experiences. Essentially, blinks create the interfaces for Actions. Blinks are like Link Previews with interactive capabilities. Blinks can be added directly to web or mobile apps as well as to third party sites like X.
These products from Dialect will be implemented on Mantis in the following ways:
Actions will be implemented on the Mantis rollup. This includes implementation on the Solana Mainnet for prefunding your account. This means that transactions on the Mantis rollup can be shareable by URL.
Blinks will also be used for the prefunding your account phase on the Mantis rollup. This will make it easier for users to participate in prefunding their Mantis accounts, such as by clicking to prefund from directly within X.
Actions and Blinks were created in collaboration with Solana, with the developer stack provided by Dialect. The Actions and Blinks protocol makes it possible to share Solana transactions everywhere.
Actions and Blinks are available directly in X, with native support in leading Solana wallets like Phantom. Blinks can also be implemented with Dialect's dedicated Blinks Chrome extension.
A number of leading projects are already using Actions. This includes:
