Hello,
One month ago, I launched my ZORA token $m4zin as a creator coin on the Base network.
As an artist, I still work with the classic NFT contract systems and continue minting my artworks across Ethereum, Solana, and Tezos. Contrary to some debates, I see creator coins not as a threat, but as an opportunity, a potential subscription model for the future...
A few months back, Zora shifted to a model where every post becomes a coin. While I appreciated the experiment, I felt this system undervalued the content and lacked the deeper artist-focused mechanics it needed. That’s when I proposed my own idea: the Artist Ecosystem Token.
Four months ago, when text minting first became available on Zora, I posted this:
"Let the Memecoin out, Artist Ecosystem Token in
One coin for your art — a dynamic cointag you keep feeding
Each post adds value and liquidity
Make coins the new hashtags of artists
Forget Pump.fun & Instagram — think Stack & Tumblr
A subscription model against fast consumption"
Zora’s creator coin system has since evolved into something close to my original suggestion. I still think there’s room to fine-tune it for artists, but as an experimenter, I’m committed to testing this feature firsthand.
$600K ATH IN ONE MONTH
I now use my Zora profile not as a static art station, but as a living content platform similar to my Tumblr blog, where I share behind-the-scenes process, unreleased experiments, analog hardware tests, installations, and more. It’s essentially my own personal social network — and it has its own currency:
The token’s reception has exceeded my expectations. Within the first month, we hit an ATH of over $600K and reached 100 holders.
REWARDING MY COLLECTORS WITH $M4ZiN AIRDROPS VIA BLUEPRINT
Recently, I started a campaign with Blueprint to reward my collectors directly with $m4zin.
Last month, I airdropped around $1,000 worth of my token from my own holdings. Here’s how it works:
I mint an artwork on Base via Blueprint
The collector mints it for around $3 in Base ETH.
They immediately receive nearly the same amount back in $m4zin tokens directly to their wallet.
This means collectors are rewarded with my own token for collecting my work. Because $m4zin’s value can fluctuate, some collectors end up with far more than they initially spent within a few weeks.
All mint revenue is used to buy back $m4zin from the market, preventing dumps and increasing the holder base. This is still an ongoing experiment, and I’m curious to see where it leads.
TEZOS VENDING MACHINE TAKEOVER
In addition to Zora “cointent,” I continue creating classic NFT works.
Few months ago, I was invited by @flexasaurusrex to do a Tezos Vending Machine Takeover, where I uploaded more than 28 artworks. The event marked my return to Tezos, and I launched a new collection called M4SHiN.
More than half of the editions sold out — a result I’m happy with. This will likely be my last time doing large edition drops on Tezos. Going forward, I’ll occasionally release 1/1 artworks there with a floor price of 600 tez. These 1/1 pieces will be more intricate and distinct from my open editions, and I intend for them to remain rare.

NEW COLLECTION COMING SOON
My next major 1/1 collection will be on Ethereum via Verse.works — stay tuned:
WEBSITE IS LIVE
My new website m4zin.net is now live. The homepage reflects my most up-to-date onchain activity, while other sections showcase my offchain portfolio, exhibitions, and more.
For example, the Music Videos section contains full versions of every music video I’ve created for artists. There’s also a dedicated section outlining my commission work in detail.
Leaderboard
Over the past two years, I’ve reached more than 27,000 unique collectors on Ethereum. You can view the current leaderboard here (soon to include $m4zin coin holders):
