The verification was seamless and involved scanning a QR code with the World App on my phone (which I had already set up) and then simply looking into the Orb’s camera, from a few inches away… the whole visit took less than two minutes. For my first product using an NFC chip powered by IYK®, I created a 1-of-1 photo tile wall art display. The design, in support of the #BehindTheRecord and #GiveCredit initiatives from The Recording Academy®, is a Credit Cover for my album This Time, and includes IP and metadata info for the album, and the photo tile's paired NFT, respectively. The photo tile is 8" × 8" square, with a removable adhesive backing for wall display, and is printed on certified archival paper, wrapped around ¼” hardboard. Tapping the NFC chip with your phone brings up a one-time webpage link where you can claim the paired 1-of-1 NFT, and access exclusive digital content. The one-time webpage link can only ever be accessed while in close physical proximity to the photo tile, and only once per access. Available now from store.mikeshupp.com.
