Sycophancy Is a Death Spiral – and America’s in It
When leaders demand total loyalty and surround themselves with flatterers, disaster follows. Every time. It’s not a question of if—it’s a question of when.

Proposal: musicto Collaborative Playlist Grant Initiative
We perceive Higher as a movement that rises above division, fear, and hate. If hate represents the lowest expression of humanity, then aiming higher is about choosing connection, empathy, and creativity.

For a decade, musicto has been an evolving experiment - today, we’re finally hitting our stride, united by a simple belief: music can make the world better.
musicto is for people who are looking to build real relationships and genuine friendships. It's not about dating or making money, it's about the pure joy of resonating with another human being. You don't have to be a musician or music expert, so long as you enjoy listening to music and are curious about people - you'll be welcome.
Creation & Collaboration are at the heart of musicto. Our community is open to everybody but the only way to join is by making a playlist with an existing member.
It sounds simple, but through sharing songs, we create opportunities to understand each other. This naturally leads to a culture of openness, sowing the seeds for new friendships to bloom. It starts with an exchange of songs but can end up in the most unexpected of places.
musicto playlists are created from a desire to connect with and learn from other people. Our curations are not restricted by the need to make a profit, resulting in greater musical diversity than you’d find on playlists populated by algorithms.
We also receive thousands of tracks from artists around the globe. If you like discovering music, every day our community has new music to explore.
While our collaborative playlists are the glue - they are not the goal. Our community organizes around the idea that music can make the world better, and we use our platform to reflect that belief.
It’s the relationships we build and the projects we launch - like our current initiative to explore our shared fears - that enable us to change the conversation around subjects we care about. No matter what skills you have or how you wish to participate, our community welcomes your contribution.
If you’re nodding while reading this: come and make your first collaborative playlist

I think this is the 6th or 7th iteration of this page in 10 years ;-p. I'm really happy with it - it feels the most "authentic" so far.
