I sat down to look at the LRT market. I saw interesting numbers, so I’m sharing them (also for my own reference later).
The focus will be on @ether_fi and @RenzoProtocol , which are the market leaders.
Currently, etherfi holds 42% of the market, followed by Renzo at 30%, while others have relatively small shares.
Renzo has grown significantly from 18% in January 2024, and eETH has been overtaken, dropping from 50%.
ethfi $5.1, mcap 590m, fdv 5.13b rez $0.13, mcap 152m, fdv 1.15b
You can see that ethfi's market cap is almost 4 times higher, even though it only dominates the LRT market 1.3x more.
👉 This means ethfi has a very high leader premium. Renzo, ranked second, has quite attractive stats but a very low price (is it too low?).
If there's an opportunity in the future, Adnano might move from ethfi to rez.
The final very interesting point is:
Renzo, which holds 30% of the LRT market share, far ahead of the third place with only 13.6%, has a market cap of just 150m.
👉 It's concerning whether puff and swell will flop and what their market cap will be. 👉👉 Farming these two should expect rewards from participating L2s.
