Recently, sybil protection has become crucial, making the Gitcoin Passport increasingly important. Let's work on maximizing our scores! Some tasks might take time, while others might need a bit of money.

Listed in order of importance, let's get started!

For this, you need at least two certs. Those who have followed my Gitcoin setup should be able to claim 6. Check out https://hypercerts.org/app/dashboard/

But don't worry if you don't have any certs, you can mint your own on the OP mainnet for a gas fee of $0.08 each.

Go to 'Create'

Add a little description

Scroll down a bit and you'll find a place to enter your wallet address

Click 'Create' and you're done

Create two of these and wait 15 days, then you can verify your Gitcoin Passport.

This one's easy. Just create an account at https://github.com/. The older the account, the more points you earn. Wait 90 days, then connect.

If you contribute often, go ahead. After 30 days, you'll also increase your score.

Use the app to create a Civic Passport.

Go to https://getpass.civic.com/status?chain=polygon

Connect your wallet.

I chose the Polygon chain and was able to mint right away.

✅Done! You can now connect your Gitcoin Passport.

But you can also connect your Polygon ID, which we should do to avoid having to do it again later. Click on the 'Send to ID wallet' button.

Download the Polygon ID app and start using it (you don't need to enter the same seed as your Metamask wallet)

"After you finish scanning, wait for about 0.30 - 1 minute, and the Civic information will also be in your Polygon ID wallet.

*You may need to use your Polygon ID wallet more often in the future, such as: To claim a badge at https://app.wiw.io/profile (scan > click 'Claim' button > scan again)To perform guild quests at https://guild.xyz/polygon.

This app is for verifying your identity without requiring any documents. It uses connections to help each other verify that they are real people. It's very convenient.

Download the app and after it's installed, press 'Show my QR' and have your friends scan it to help verify your identity.

We can help each other connect in groups too.

If you manage to connect with 3-4 people, you can try linking your Gitcoin Passport.

If it doesn't work, you might need to verify it with a 10-15 minute meeting here.

It will be a video call on Zoom where everyone can join to help each other verify. It won't take long and you won't have to speak much.

This one is also easy, vote on DAO proposals. If you're unsure which DAO to join, these two are quite inexpensive. Buy a little to put in your wallet so you can vote: $STG on any chain at Stargate https://snapshot.org/#/stgdao.eth $JOE on Arbitrum https://snapshot.org/#/joegovernance.eth

If the score is still not enough, connect all of them because it's free. They will just take a moment to register (if you don’t already have them):

• Lens - for this one, you'll still need to purchase it.

Of course, if you participate in fundraising when there are various Gitcoin rounds, you can verify and I'm guessing the score will be quite high as well.

Using Lite and Era should be common already. If you don't have them, you should consider it as it'll also allow you to chase airdrops.

2. Click to post on social media to receive an invite code. I did it on Twitter and received the code via DM.

Open an Idena account at https://app.idena.io/ Once you have opened the account, you will be asked to enter the invitation code. After that, wait for the event time and then participate in the activities (not sure what they are) together. There will be multiple rounds.

Next, you might already know this, or it might require more capital:

If you have a Gnosis Wallet, you can connect it. You can also link multiple wallets at once.

The downside is that it needs to be on the ETH mainnet and the gas fee is expensive. You can skip this if you want.

This one is very easy, you just need to hold an NFT. You probably already have one.

This is a website that aggregates quests for those who have ENS. If you have 65k+ exp, you should be able to verify.

However, even though I have 65k+ exp, I still can't verify. I suspect I'll have to wait for them to update.

This one requires KYC with your phone number or ID card and another minting fee. I decided to skip this one for now.
