We don’t just need more powerful AI models; we need better ways to create together, with economic models attached. We need built-in structures to allow individual artists and builders to find creative expression in multiplayer mode: allowing human intent, curation, and promotion to combine and produce more positive sum outcomes for creatives, with AI superpowers.
This May, I’m incentivizing participation in three open experiments: Arrowheads, LumArt, and Luminary. Each one explores how we can align AI creativity with a communal effort. These are projects designed to reward participation, spark collaboration, and give you a stake in what we build.
These are very early efforts. Each is starting by using existing tools. But if there is sufficient interest, each will have their own mini-app:
to encourage ease of participation within Farcaster
to increase trustlessness and decentralization
and to create new mechanics (I have some ideas for how each could evolve)
My goal is that each, if successful, produces an economic flywheel that continues to incentivize the production of high-quality AI-powered creativity.
I’m hoping everyone can find one or more places they want to participate, even if they don’t consider themselves “a creative.” Whether you want to pitch a rough idea, give quality feedback, mint finished art, help build a mini-app, or collect NFTs and promote the work of others—there’s a place to jump in.
Each of the 3 different projects not only has a different focus on the type of output, but also the structure, anywhere from being extremely open-ended and flexible (Luminary), to being extremely structured (LumArt). But nothing is set in stone. Part of the reason not to start with a mini-app is to give us the chance to discuss and improve the approach, and giving everyone an opportunity to lend a hand in how the mini-app would work.
AI increases our creative agency, allowing us to tackle creative projects that are bigger than would have been possible for an individual or small team. Arrowheads aims to start and nurture projects like these, enabling you to move from a vague idea to getting started, or to tackle one piece at a time and chipping away at a much larger project you’ve been working on.

Being an independent artist is hard. LumArt helps AI artists mint from their own contracts, earn directly, and also be able to grow through collective success.
Artists keep most ETH from their mints
Winners earn membership, bonus ETH, + long-term $LUM alignment
Consistent contributors can also earn membership and perks, even if they haven’t won a contest yet.

Luminary is a collaborative creative universe. Anyone can contribute—stories, tools, characters—and get recognized for what they add.
Contributions can earn ETH and long-term $LUMINARY
Supports solo creators or small teams
Everything is open: remix, expand, co-create.
The Luminary is an open myth. To make that possible, everything is released under CC0. When you contribute to The Luminary you're agreeing to release it under the same license. (learn more)

Each project is live now. They're simple by design, with minimal rules.
Pick one that speaks to you:
Arrowheads:
Got an idea for a larger creative project you would want to pursue?
Or, already working on one?
Post a rough pitch in the /arrow channel. If others are into it, take the next step.
LumArt:
Make a piece of AI art.
Mint it as a 1-week open edition on highlight
Must share 30% or more to the LumArt pool (0x7da768Cd9a30Edbb5Aff21F14d99a2532aBF1Dfa), going to future winners and members.
Post in /lumart.
Luminary:
What should we add to the world? Create:
A character
A pitch for a short story

Everything is open. You don’t need permission. You just need to care enough to start.
AI can generate content. But I would like to see these projects generate deeper meaning. These experiments are about reclaiming the tools—and seeing what’s possible when creativity, coordination, and community come together.
There’s no roadmap. No central team. Just a dream to share in.
Let’s build something worth continuing.
