This past week was one for the books.
Had some epic of podcast recordings and shows, shipped a mini-app on Farcaster, hopped from Vegas to the Palm Springs area to the mountains of Idyllwild for FWB Fest—and somehow kept my mic hot through it all.
The energy onchain feels like it’s mirroring IRL right now: fast-moving, a little chaotic, but packed with moments of pure magic ✨
🎂 Ethereum turns 10: A decade ago, the whitepaper felt like a moonshot. Today, it’s the infrastructure for trillions in value, countless experiments, and more than a few all-nighters for devs around the world. Check out the 10 year anniversary celebration below! Happy birthday Ethereum 🎂
🍰 Another onchain birthday Base turns 2 today: In two years, Base has gone from Coinbase’s big bet to a cornerstone of the L2 landscape. Feels like the chain has barely started growing, and yet it's come so far!
💃 FWB Fest: A weekend of panels, music, workshops, and culture tucked away in the mountains of Idyllwild, California—the birthplace of Base. It was a unique reminder that you can unplug in nature, learn, and have fun all at once.

Spot ETH ETF filings pile up: Institutions seem to be lining up for ETH exposure after Bitcoin’s ETF success.
PayPal expands stablecoin rollout internationally: More users, more onramps, more real-world flow.

The line between “crypto” and “the world” is thinning.
From Coinbase and Chase partnering, to PayPal’s expansion of stablecoin use cases, to Base’s growing role in the onchain space, the language we’ve been speaking in our corner of the internet is slowly becoming universal.
It’s not just about protocols anymore—it’s about cultural infrastructure, human connection, and making the onchain experience feel as natural as sending a text.
This week felt like a bridge-building moment—between people, between communities, between crypto and the world outside it.
We’re not just stacking blocks; we’re building culture, infrastructure, and memories that’ll last far longer than any bull or bear cycle.
My final takeaway? Tech can scale fast, but nothing moves without people. The real edge we have is how we show up for each other in the community.
Catch you onchain,
— Rachel

Coinbase x Chase: A promising crossover—where crypto-native meets banking powerhouse. Another step toward making onchain payments feel less like a novelty and more like second nature.
💬 My Q Kicked Off Coinbase's Q2 Earnings Report: I shared a question with Brian Armstrong on Farcaster that ended up kicking off their Q2 earnings livestream! Hearing Brian answer my question live was an incredible moment, check out the short clip below 👇
