I did democracy movement work for Nepal before Facebook. I admired what Facebook and Twitter did for Egypt, but then they did not step in to help build the institutions of democracy in the aftermath.
The iPhone could not have been built a decade before it was.
Web 3 makes possible what I have in mind. I want to approach the US government like defense contractors do. I want your money. For the price of a fighter jet, I will build the digital tools that will topple Putin. It will also give America a constituent assembly, but you can’t be complaining about that. I don’t think there is another way to rescue democracy in America.
The same tools will break up the CCP in China. There is no other way to take China back to a 10% growth rate, fully powered by clean energy.
The same tools will go to the Gulf. The Islamic world used to be at the cutting edge of math and science. It can go back there. But not with the fossil monarchies.
For the price of a fighter jet, I could raise this first million from Afore and then not raise any other round. Go to the people. Go IPO.
I mean business.
