Introducing Moderator Role We're introducing the moderator role, empowering users to oversee the group's content and atmosphere. Moderator roles are scheduled for release on the Web first on May 15th, UTC 10:00. (App-May 18th at UTC 10:00).
Application Conditions: Must be a PSP holder to apply as a Moderator. You must join the group to access the application portal. Users can reapply for a moderator for the same group.
Rules Explanation:
a. Only successful applicants gain moderator rights in the group.
b. You will gain moderator access the day after your application.
c. You can apply daily from UTC 00:00 to 23:00.
d. Application results will be announced daily at UTC 24:00.
e. Each application is valid for only one day, reapplication is required daily.
Moderator Rights:
a. Deleting messages, muting, and banning users in the Live Chat.
b. The moderator rights do not involve CAST management.
Moderator Rules:
Moderators are empowered to oversee the group's content and atmosphere. The platform system evaluates their performance. Positive evaluations may lead to rewards for moderators.
Reward Mechanism:
a. Moderators of groups with different numbers of members will receive rewards in different score ranges, divided into three intervals with corresponding rewards.

b. Moderator Selection Results (Update since 00:00 UTC, July 30th, 2024):
A user only can apply as a Mod for 2 groups per day
User who is PSP holders and holding >=300 $Pulse will be randomly selected as Mod.
c. Reward Distribution Time:
i) Only moderators who were evaluated as "Meet Expectation" by CS in the management system are eligible for rewards.
ii) Distribution Time: UTC 5:00:00 on T+1. (For example, if a user applies to become a moderator on 05/01, their reward will be distributed to their account at 5:00 UTC on 05/03.)
d. Viewing Reward Results:
Go to : My Rewards page > My $PULSE tab > Click the "Moderator Rewards" task to see the evaluation results
Deleting messages in Live chat: Removes user messages from the chat and displays them as deleted to all users.
Muting in Live Chat: If a user is muted by a moderator, they cannot send messages in the Live Chat for 24 hours. If muted for longer than 24 hours, the mute will be automatically lifted after the time expires.
Banning users in Live Chat: If a user is banned by a moderator, they will be removed from the group, but the group will still be visible in the user's joined groups list; to lift the ban, contact CS, or the group moderator can execute the Unban operation. If not unbanned, the user is permanently removed from the group without an expiration date.
Work Scope:
Moderation: Monitor community for queries, rule violations and inappropriate content
Conflict Resolution: Mediate disputes and ensure a respectful community environment.
Content Review: Review and ensure all posts and messages comply with community standards.
Community Engagement: Actively participate in and organize discussions, events, and activities.
Reporting and Documentation: Document and report any platform abuse
Group owners & CS teams have higher authority than moderators.
Moderators cannot perform the following actions on group owners & peers. (deleting messages/muting/banning)
However, CS team & group owners can perform all actions. (deleting messages/muting/banning)
When a user becomes a moderator, they cannot leave the group, they need to end their moderator status to leave the group.
