The Farcaster team has executed its first automated fee swap to acquire $CLANKER, marking a transition away from its previous manual treasury purchase process. The initial automated swap resulted in the acquisition of 493 $CLANKER.

Under the prior system, protocol fees were periodically accumulated and swapped manually, leading to irregular treasury movements and noticeable spikes in on-chain fee activity. By moving to automated swaps, the team aims to distribute purchases more evenly over time, reducing volatility in fee-related transactions.

As a result, large one-off spikes from liquidity provider fees are expected to appear less frequently on the Clanker Dune dashboard. Instead, treasury balances should increase more gradually as fees are collected and swapped on a regular basis.

Following the update, the Clanker treasury now holds 20,391 $CLANKER tokens, equivalent to approximately 2.03% of the token’s total supply. The change reflects an effort to improve the predictability and transparency of Clanker’s fee management and treasury operations.
