In the early months of 2023, the strange little creature called @Dri_Fella emerged from the same soil that had already produced @MMifella and Milady. @bis__cut, its creator, cast the new figure as a kind of "death-dealer", the one that presided over all MiFella/Milady derivatives. The tweets from March of that year already framed DriFella not as a simple derivative but as a "resurrection mechanic"... A way to bring back what had been lost... but at a cost.

The story was told with Pokémon-like language:
"𝐼𝑚𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑜𝑦𝑎𝑙 𝐷𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑖 𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑠. 𝐺𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑓-𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑒𝑛, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑎 𝑏𝑎𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎 𝑑𝑎𝑟𝑘 𝑆ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑔𝑎𝑚𝑖-𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑐𝑒. 𝐼𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑒𝑣𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑑𝑦 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙, 𝑖𝑡 𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑙𝑑 𝑏𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡. 𝐵𝑢𝑡 𝑖𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑎 𝑀𝑖𝐹𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙, 𝑖𝑡 𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑠 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑎𝑠 𝑎 𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑟𝑢𝑝𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑗𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑟-𝑓𝑖𝑔𝑢𝑟𝑒... 𝐷𝑟𝑖𝐹𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎"
This made DriFella feel less like a mere offshoot and more like a pivot point between two paths: light and darkness, grace and grotesquerie, the infinite and the finite. The mythology tied it to the broader “MiFella-sphere” and set it apart from the main Milady mythos. The debates in the replies
“𝐼𝑡’𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑎 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑎𝑑𝑦 𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒... 𝑖𝑡’𝑠 𝑎 𝑀𝑖𝐹𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎 𝑑𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒!”
show how much Biscuit wanted to preserve that identity.

As the idea spread, Biscuit leaned into the paradox at the project’s heart. He described DriFella as
“𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑠𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒… 𝑏𝑦 𝑖𝑛𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑙𝑜𝑐𝑎𝑙 𝑀𝑖𝐹𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎’𝑠 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝐷𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑖, 𝑤𝑒 𝑢𝑛𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑠ℎ 𝑎 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑐𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑠 𝑏𝑜𝑡ℎ 𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑢𝑙 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑞𝑢𝑒, 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑓𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔.”
By mid-2023, this framing... the mixture of memetics, resurrection, and playful darkness... had become the defining seed of DriFella lore. It was both absurdist and oddly sincere, giving the collection a mythic back-story that resonated in the edgy, self-referential Avant-Gay scene on Solana.
