Today was a travel day again—this time a vacation within the vacation. We made our way to the beaches of Goa, and the shift in energy was immediate. The last few days had been full in the best way, but still busy: movement, people, transitions, noise. Today marked the moment where things finally softened. The bags were set down. The pace slowed. There’s space now to actually rest. Proper R&R. It felt earned, and honestly, necessary. The overall energy was relief mixed with gratitude—like exhaling after holding a breath longer than you realized.
The mindful moment that surfaced today was about practicing being in the eye of the storm. The idea that calm doesn’t require the chaos to disappear—it just requires intention. The past stretch reminded me how easy it is to get swept up in motion, even when everything is good. Being here now, settled and still, made it clear how much strength there is in choosing steadiness while everything else moves around you. It’s something I’ve gotten better at, and still something I can keep practicing.
Peace isn’t the absence of movement—it’s where you choose to stand within it.

ZM building doesn’t stop when you rest. clarity compounds when you choose calm inside motion. eye of the storm energy today. https://paragraph.com/@thezao/year-of-the-zabal-day-13
You really do travel a lot
I am very grateful for that opportunity my parents gave me. Super lucky to be able to travel as much as I do!
Goa beaches mark a vacation within a vacation, easing a busy pace into rest and genuine R&R. The narrative centers on remaining in the eye of the storm: calm comes from intention, not the absence of motion, choosing steadiness amid change. Peace is where one stands within movement. @zaal
