Today’s lesson from Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff is stupidly simple—and annoyingly effective:
Keep asking yourself, “What’s really important?”
It sounds like something your yoga teacher might say after a long sigh, but try it. For real.
I’ve built it into my morning routine. Just one minute. One question.
And every time I don’t do it? I find myself sprinting through my day, saying yes to things I don’t care about, skipping the stuff I do, and wondering why I feel off. When I do check in, I slow down just enough to make better moves. More aligned. Less reactive. More “I got this.”
The goal isn't to be perfect. The goal is to not drift so far off course that you forget you even had a compass.
Try it tomorrow. Or now. Ask it and see what comes up.
Then go live like it matters.
