Devconnect & Boosting Velora’s Presence in Latin America
Author: Beni Bauer - Modular Crypto & Velora Growth Committee (VGC)TL;DRWith the DAO’s approval of PIP-71, the community voted to sponsor Velora’s presence at Devconnect Argentina Governance Day through the “Gold Tier” option. The $4,000 investment positions Velora among the leading governance organizations globally, providing panel speaking opportunities, booth presence, and strategic networking at what has become the premier DAO governance event, with over 1,200 registrants expected based o...

Integrating Velora: A Simple Path to Smarter Token Swaps
Author: Velora Growth Committee (VGC) Swapping tokens across chains and protocols can be deceptively complex. Between slippage, gas optimization, bridging, and routing, it’s easy to get buried in low-level details. Velora has a lightweight, developer-friendly API for token swaps, offering two core modes:Delta, an intent-based system designed for price optimization through a sealed-bid auction layer, andMarket, designed for speed and simplicity. Both share the same elegant integration flow: you...

Velora's OP Grant Application
Author: Velora Growth Committee (VGC)TL;DRVelora Growth Committee, on behalf of VeloraDAO, has submitted an application for 200,000 OP tokens through Optimism's Season 8 grants program, outlining a roadmap to broaden routing pathways across the Superchain and deepen stablecoin pools on Optimism Mainnet and Base. While the application has not yet been approved, it is currently in review and its AI probability of approval is “high.”The “Why”Following the recent completion of the VLR token ...

On November 14th, the fourth edition of Governance Day at Devconnect brought together some of the most influential operators, delegates, and governance practitioners in the Ethereum ecosystem. With more than 250 attendees and a full agenda of panels, debates, and workshops, the event set the stage for DAOs to showcase not only their ideas but also their identity, maturity, and ecosystem alignment.
For Velora DAO, Governance Day was more than just another conference.
It was a strategic milestone in consolidating its rebranding, reaffirming its governance direction, and amplifying its presence within the global coordination landscape.
More than visibility, the event made one thing clear: Velora’s main challenge today is not technical, it is narrative. The DAO is evolving in infrastructure, strategy, and experimentation, but it still needs to accelerate the consolidation of its new identity in the ecosystem’s collective awareness.

VeloraDAO’s participation was intentionally structured. Delegates from Curia, Wakeup Labs, DAOplomats, Beni, and SEEDGov coordinated in advance with the event organizers to ensure a consistent brand presence, both visually and operationally.

The Velora booth, positioned at the entrance of the main stage, acted as an anchor point throughout the entire eight-hour event. Branded with Velora’s new identity, it offered several touchpoints that reinforced the protocol’s message:
A QR code linking to a one-pager that clearly explained Velora’s mission, protocol insights, and governance structure
A dedicated POAP mintable via QR or NFC, bringing a playful yet meaningful incentive to interact
Around 20 Velora-branded pins created in partnership with Oxytosin, distributed only to genuinely interested visitors
At least two Velora delegates staffed the booth at all times, ensuring continuity of conversations and maintaining an active presence.
More than a physical location, the booth functioned as a coordination tool. It concentrated attention, created context for strategic conversations, and positioned Velora as one of the few DAOs with continuous, organized presence throughout the entire event.

One of the most important insights surfaced during the event: Many attendees still did not know that ParaSwap is now Velora.
Once this connection was made, most participants immediately recognized the protocol’s history, reputation, and previous contributions. The rebrand, however, had not yet fully reached the collective awareness of the ecosystem.
This shows that Velora’s rebranding is not merely a marketing update, it is a governance issue.
Rebranding impacts:
Stakeholder understanding
Delegates’ capacity to represent the protocol
Governance participation
Trust in ongoing initiatives
The framing of Velora’s long-term strategy
At this stage, Governance Day acted as a real-time corrective mechanism. Every flyer, every booth interaction, and every POAP mint reinforced a narrative that still needs to scale across the ecosystem:
“Velora is ParaSwap evolved.”
This moment revealed a key paradox: Velora has already evolved in practice, but that evolution is not yet fully perceived outside its closest contributor circle. Making this message consistent and ubiquitous now becomes a strategic priority.
Visibility was not the only highlight. VeloraDAO was also represented in core content moments.
Gonzalo (Wakeup Labs) participated as a speaker in the panel “DAO Stack Essentials: Where tooling is needed most,” positioning Velora among protocols exploring more structured, scalable governance infrastructure.

Other Velora delegates, from Avantgarde, Arana Digital, Curia, and 0xAlex, also appeared in panels and discussions, reinforcing the DAO’s proximity to governance research and operations.
Key topics, such as Futarchy, emerged naturally during the event. This is especially relevant given VeloraDAO’s experimentation through PIP-72, placing the protocol among the few DAOs exploring prediction-market-driven governance in practice.
This participation does more than reinforce Velora’s technical reputation. It clearly signals the type of DAO Velora aims to become: one that not only adopts governance tools, but actively helps shape the next generation of governance paradigms.

While brand awareness still needs reinforcement, the level of engagement during the event demonstrated that Velora remains an attractive and respected protocol.
Some indicators:
40 POAPs minted out of ~250 attendees, a very high conversion considering not everyone uses POAP apps
20 pins distributed, all to visitors who actively engaged with the booth
A significant number of QR scans of Velora’s one-pager
DAO service providers approaching Velora with specialized support proposals
A promising conversation initiated by SEEDGov with a respected group offering financial and token growth solutions
More than isolated numbers, these data points signal three clear dynamics: genuine curiosity about Velora’s new positioning, trust accumulated from ParaSwap’s historical track record, and growing market openness to strategic partnerships.

Governance Day helped VeloraDAO accomplish several critical objectives:
Amplify the rebrand and correct awareness gaps
Showcase governance maturity through panel participation and consistent delegate presence
Reinforce the DAO’s identity at a moment when clarity and trust are essential
Position Velora within the emerging narrative of advanced DAO tooling and decision-making models
This matters because Velora’s next chapter is deeply governance-driven.
With new features rolling out, deeper community participation, and more advanced coordination mechanisms being explored, the clarity of Velora’s brand and governance structure becomes non-negotiable.
The takeaway is clear:
Governance Day validated that VeloraDAO has the right governance positioning, the right team, and the right story, but it must accelerate communication around the rebrand to ensure the ecosystem recognizes its evolution.
From here, the objective is to strengthen alignment among delegates, contributors, and community members to build a consistent, global narrative around Velora.
If Governance Day showed anything, it’s that once people understand what Velora stands for, they want to know more, and that is the foundation of long-term governance legitimacy.
